Hello, I'm Jen Sanders and I am running for Union County’s school board in District 2! My husband and I have been together for 24 years and we’re proud parents of two wonderful kids, aged 13 and 10. Committed to advocacy and allyship, I aim to be a dedicated voice for all of the students and staff in our school system. As member of the school board, my focus would be on supporting educators and raising awareness about the need for increased funding in public education as well as the importance of compensating our teachers. I’m passionate about spreading awareness about the crucial role of public education and advocating for keeping tax dollars within our schools. The impact of the voucher program concerns me, and I will work to address its impacts and potential harm to our children. I am also very passionate about equality for all of our students as well as the role parents play in their child’s education. Transparency and equality are at the core of my values, ensuring a fair and inclusive education system for all!

If you can turn your one vote into three more, we have a chance of bringing District 2 back to the students, teachers, and parents and out of the hands of special interest groups.
If you'd like to get involved, I'll be looking for volunteers! You can host a fundraiser with your friends and family, and you can bet that I will absolutely be there to talk about why I'm running!
If you have your own idea on how you'd like to get involved, by all means, sign up to help out and create your own job. I'm not a professional politician with a team of specialists behind me, so input is always welcome.
